Okay here is the deal. I have to be honest and say that I have never read a mystery book. Can you believe it? I was thinking about this last night and decided I needed to change that. I have read some young adult mysteries but that was a while ago. And then is Da Vinci Code a mystery? I have always LOVED murder mystery shows. I love the suspense. I love how your mind move through the story even when you are away from it, trying to work through scenarios. Thanks for offering this contest.

Hi, I am afraid my first post didn't go through. I have always read mysteries, starting with Nancy Drew and the Hardy Boys. Then, Agatha Christie fascinated me. I really liked her character "Pierot!" Of course, I like to see if I can determine who did it. I love to watch "CSI" and "Criminal Minds!" Thanks very much.....Cindi

I love them because I read so many Agatha Christie books when I was younger! Before that, Nancy Drew and the Hardy Boys were my favorite reads. I like to guess who done it?! Thanks,Cindi

It's the mystery of it that has held me and continues to hold me intrigued! Along with the detective/protagonist, I become involved and do all the investigation (from my armchair) and it's a race as to who will guess the identity of the culprit first. That excitement is the BEST! :)

I love detective stories. In my high school, we had to do a 3 year paper and I chose Forensic Science: Crime Scene Investigation for my topic. My presentation was so awesome! I borrowed some Barbies from my little cousin and set up a crime scene in a box. I was even accepted to go to college to be a CSI, but I chickened out after seeing some real photos of real crime scenes. I just didn't think I could've done it.

I also will praise things to the high Heavens if I enjoy it, so your friend may get another free promotion on my behalf!

Looks like I'm the first! Yay!

I love to read detective/crime novels for the same reason I like to watch detective/crime shows - to see if I can figure out what happened and whodunnit and why and everything else hidden from view before it becomes clear in its own time.

I'm getting better at it, but unfortunately my record is still not very good. ;)

Naturally I'll pass along any praise I have after reading the book.

Namaste,
A. Caleb Hartley
